If you are one of the three remaining people on this planet who has not yet been assimilated by Facebook, you will find (when your time comes) that the sign-up process corals you to offer up at least one of your existing contacts lists. If you persevere you can bypass this step but it ain’t easy. So if you are like most Facebook users you will start off with a zillion contacts or “friends.”
The initial experience can be overwhelming. Wow I’m connected to everybody and this is where it’s all happening! Yay!
